Yes. Before surgery, you’ll meet with our anesthesia team from Apollo Anesthesia Associates. They’ll review your health history, medications, and any prior experiences with anesthesia to develop a plan that ensures your safety and comfort throughout your procedure.
Most patients return home the same day as their procedure. Your total time at the center will depend on the type of surgery and your individual recovery needs. Your safety is always our priority—we’ll ensure you’re fully ready before discharge. Before leaving, your care team will review your post-operative instructions and confirm that you’re prepared to recover safely at home.
You’ll receive detailed discharge instructions before leaving the center, including contact information for your surgeon, anesthesia provider and our care team.
If you develop any symptoms of illness—such as fever, congestion, or a new cough—please contact your surgeon or our center as soon as possible. Your safety is our top priority, and in some cases, surgery may be rescheduled to ensure the best outcome.
